Kangana Ranaut is back with another solo movie after Queen. The reason I am comparing is because Queen had beautiful music. Hence, it is only fair if I have higher/equal expectations from this album. One other reason for this is that Queen was composed by Amit Trivedi and Simran is composed by Sachin-Jigar, both of my favourite music composers. Pritam has composed three music albums in last two months. This is the fourth one. All the previous ones have been good albums with  Jagga Jasoos  being the best so far. Can this album surpass it? The singing combination was north pole-south pole. Let me be shameless and do a comparison with the other Radha from SOTY  since both of them are on the same lines. That one was way better than this one. It is surprising that being a Radha song, it has very minimal traditional desi  beats. Tiger Shroff returns to show off his dancing skills, yet again. So that is the only expectation from this album - good catchy dance numbers. Without wasting much time, let us get started! Vishal Bhardwaj and Gulzar ji together have given some amazing lyrical songs in all of Vishal Bhardwaj's movies. The songs in his movies are not meant for commercial appeal (they often get though). They composed so as to take the story forward. With that thought in mind, let's get into this music album and review it! I feel like an idiot every time ranting about how a lot a movies these days are releasing their music album just few days prior to it's release. Nonetheless, just as other such music albums I am expecting it to have a few chartbusters and a soulful number. But that doesn't mean I shouldn't be reviewing it. So, without further ado, let's get into it. (Click on the song title to play it on Saavn) Nashe Si Chadh Gayi Singer: Arijit Singh Lyrics: Jaideep Sahni This song is as trippy as the name suggests. The lyrics are free spirited as a kite like mentioned in the song. In some portions of the song, Arijit's voice sounds like Adnan Sami. The fast paced lyrics before the chorus doesn't make any sense (as if the entire movie is going to make any). Despite the flaws, the song did not burn my ears and is a nice groove to dance on. Not so much for the entire album but after watching the trailer I was definitely curious for the intro song in it. My fascination for Jasleen Royal's voice also pulled me towards reviewing this album. I apologize for publishing this a little late, I've been travelling a lot lately. Omung Kumar returns back with another biopic after Mary Kom. Mary Kom had its share of really good songs but people went in for the story. Maybe it'll be similar with Sarbjit - the songs will be integrated in the story itself and will take the story forward. What are my expectations before listening to the album? This album has ten songs. It is going to be a really long review. Hold on your seats tight. A lot of different  renowned singers have playbacked for this album.
