Music Review | Wajah Tum Ho | Mithoon, Abhijit Vaghani, Meet Bros, Gourov-Roshin

When few of my readers requested me to review this album, I had no idea about the movie, music or the cast. A quick look at the trailer and the picture got clear as to why this album is popular among some folks. With a shoestring budget, I am willing to take the risk of assuming that there will be nothing spectacular in this album. However, I will get into this album with an unbiased mind as always. Music Review | Ae Dil Hai Mushkil | Pritam

I Hate It! Yes, I hate the current trend of releasing individual songs until the release of the movie. It all started with Baar Baar Dekho , where Kala Chashma was released even before the trailer was launched. A similar strategy was implemented with this album too. The title track and Bulleya were launched (on 6th Sept and 15th Sept respctively) before the trailer (22nd Sept). Following which every other song was released within 15 days of the previous release. The last one being Cutiepie (24th Oct) that was release just 4 days before the movie release. And the entire album was released 2 days before the movie released on 26th October. Although, it is a really wise move to use songs as a form of viral marketing until the release. However, releasing individual songs over a long stretch of time periods defeats the purpose of the album. Anyways, enough of the rant. I was really looking forward to review this album.
